That is why we have decided to add television to the film commission's name to reiterate its primary focus of supporting the growing television and commercial production industry in the East Tennessee. While film productions are an incredible economic stimulus and provide great exposure and opportunities for our region, we know that our bread and butter is in our growing production industry in East Tennessee. As one of the fastest growing production communities in the nation, the Commission's main focus is on promoting the incredible talent base and production assets so it can continue to thrive."

The East Tennessee Television & Film Commission is a non-profit corporation solely funded by Knox County to bring film, television, photography and other media productions to the area.
